Claude Code 2.1.295 released
A feature release adding hook failure handling, terminal status display, and fixes for MCP servers, file handling, and plugin behavior.
What changed in 2.1.295
- Hook failures can now block actions with
onFailure: "block", and terminals supporting OSC 7501 can display Claude Code's work status. - Remote MCP servers reconnect more reliably after outages and back off from repeated connection failures; pagination cursors no longer cause repeated requests.
- File extensions for CSS, JavaScript, XML, fonts and icons from MCP tools are now preserved;
/copypreserves quoted text formatting. - Fixed context-1m beta refusal handling, background task ordering with subagents, plugin marketplace validation, and dozens of UI and tool behavior issues.
- Models sent to upstream services can be filtered with an optional list, and gateway login can be forced with
forceLoginMethodsettings.
