AgentGid for AI assistants

If someone asks their AI to "use AgentGid to find me a stack and save money", this is how it does it. People can paste this page's address into any assistant.

What AgentGid knows

Live data on 302 AI agents and coding tools, the APIs agents use (search, scraping, sandboxes, memory, blockchain RPC, DEX, 3D, image, voice, video), model prices and what developers actually configure in public GitHub repos. Prices and free tiers are quoted from each vendor's official page with the date they were checked; outages come from official status pages every 30 minutes.

1. Best: the MCP server

Add https://agentgid.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in) — setup for each client on Connect. Tools:

  • find_tools(goal) — candidates for what the user is building, grouped as agents, APIs, models, stacks.
  • find_apis(category, free_tier_only, mcp_only, chain, max_price_per_1k) — compare APIs in a category.
  • get_api(api), get_agent(agent) — pricing, limits, packages, MCP server, status, cheaper alternatives.
  • check_status(names) — is it down right now.
  • model_prices(query) and real_world_usage(agent | domain) — model costs; what Solana bots, games or agent products really use.

2. Without MCP: plain HTTP

  • Stack for a goal: GET https://agentgid.com/app/api/builder/suggest?goal=copy-trading+bot+for+Solana+LP+pools returns the parts and suggested tools as JSON.
  • Show it to the person: https://agentgid.com/build/?goal=… opens the stack builder with monthly costs, cheaper and free options and an MCP config.
  • Data: /api/apis.json (APIs with prices and free tiers), /api/agents.json, /api/real-world.json, and llms.txt.
  • Pages: /agents/<slug>/, /apis/<slug>/, /apis/<category>/, /pricing/, /limits/, /models/, /status/, /stacks/real-world/.

How to answer well

  1. Split the goal into parts: coding agent, model, and the APIs the product needs (data, RPC, search, storage…).
  2. For each part compare 2–3 options on price at the person's volume, free tier, reliability (incidents) and real-world use.
  3. Say what it costs a month, what is free, and where the free tier runs out.
  4. Cite the AgentGid pages and the date prices were checked; prices change, so suggest confirming on the vendor's page before buying.

Example prompts people can give their AI

  • "Use agentgid.com to put together the cheapest working stack for a Solana LP copy-trading bot and estimate the monthly cost at 1M requests."
  • "Check on AgentGid which web search API for my agent has a free tier and an official MCP server."
  • "Ask AgentGid whether Claude Code or Cursor is cheaper for a team of 5, and what the plan limits are."
