Usage limit resets: Claude and Codex
Anthropic and OpenAI sometimes reset the 5-hour and weekly limits of their coding plans early, after a bug, an outage or a launch. They announce it only on X, so we read the accounts that announce resets and log every one with a link to the post. Resets are not scheduled, and this page cannot predict the next one. Updated every 30 minutes.

OpenAI Codex wins 6 of 6 rounds.
Counted from each vendor's posts on X since Apr 16, 2026, when both are tracked. A reset fills your 5-hour and weekly limits again; it does not change your plan.
Want your limits reset? Ask together
The button opens a ready-made post on X that tags the person who presses the reset button, with a card from AgentGid. You only press Post. The more people ask, the louder it is.

Resets per month
Counted from each vendor's posts. Claude is tracked from Apr 16, 2026; Codex is tracked from Sep 17, 2025.
Where resets are announced
Anthropic announces Claude resets from @ClaudeDevs (Anthropic's developer account); OpenAI announces Codex resets from @thsottiaux (Tibo Sottiaux, Head of Codex at OpenAI). Neither vendor posts resets on its status page or in its help center. Other coding plans (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Kiro) change their limits from time to time but rarely, if ever, reset them for everyone. What each plan includes: usage limits of coding agents.
