Data you can trust
How fresh the data is
How often each kind of AgentGid data is refreshed, where the date of each number is shown, and what the amber "Not updated since" mark means.
Every number on AgentGid carries the date it was read. When a source stops answering, the number keeps its last reading and is marked out of date, so you never see an old number as if it were new.
How often things are refreshed #
| Data | How often |
|---|---|
| Status of agents and services, news, limit resets | Every 30 minutes |
| Usage data: downloads, stars, installs, mentions | Once a day |
| Official deals | Once a day |
| Prices, free tiers, plan limits | Read from official pages; each shows the date it was checked |
| Tested kit recipes | Checked every week |
Registries publish downloads a day or two late, so the latest reading of a download count usually trails the day it was fetched.
Where to see the date #
- Agent pages: a line under the key numbers gives the range of the latest readings, and the card How fresh these numbers are lists every number with its latest reading and when the source was last checked.
- Charts say the day they run to ("as of …").
- Tables of agents show the date of the number in each row.
- Prices show the official page they came from and the date they were checked.
- The JSON data has
data_as_ofanddata_out_of_datefor each agent. See JSON, RSS and llms.txt.
The amber mark #
A reading more than 4 days old is marked out of date: in amber, as Not updated since a date, with the name of the source. Nothing is filled in or estimated in its place. The Gid Score keeps using the last reading until a newer one arrives, and in the main ranking table an amber dot next to a score says that some numbers behind it are out of date.
A status that could not be refreshed for more than 3 hours shows as Not checked recently, never as a live outage.
More detail is in the methodology and the list of data sources.
