Privacy
Short version — no ads, no trackers, no selling data. An account stores only what it needs to work, and you can delete it any time.
Browsing the site
Reading AgentGid needs no account. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Our web server keeps a standard access log (IP address, page, time, browser) for security and to count visits; the logs roll over automatically. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your own browser.
If you sign in
You can sign in with GitHub or with a link sent to your e-mail. We store:
- Account: a username, an optional display name and short bio, your e-mail address, and — if you use GitHub — your GitHub user id, login and avatar link. With an e-mail sign-in your public username is random, never taken from your address.
- Sign-in sessions: a random token in a cookie; we keep only its hash.
- Outage alerts: which agents you follow and how you want to hear about incidents: e-mail, browser notifications (the push address your browser gives us) or a Slack/Discord webhook you add.
- What you post: setups you share, ratings and reviews, stars and reports.
- Abuse limits: short-lived counters (including your IP address for sign-in links) that stop spam; they are cleared within a day.
Your username, name, bio, avatar, shared setups and reviews are public. Your e-mail address, alerts, webhook and stars are not shown to anyone.
Who else handles it
- GitHub — only if you choose GitHub sign-in; we ask for read access to your public profile and e-mail address.
- Resend — sends sign-in links and alert e-mails.
- Your browser's push service (for example Google, Mozilla or Apple) — delivers browser notifications you turn on.
- Anthropic — the text of setups, bios and reviews is checked automatically for spam and abuse by an AI model before it is published.
- Slack or Discord — only the alert messages you ask us to send to your own webhook.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Cookies
ag_session keeps you signed in (60 days, HttpOnly). ag_in only tells our pages that you are signed in. ag_oauth lives for 10 minutes during GitHub sign-in to protect it from forgery. There are no tracking cookies.
Deleting your data
Open your account and press Delete my account: your profile, alerts, setups, stars and ratings are removed at once. Daily backups roll over within 14 days. To stop alerts only, remove the agent or untick e-mail on the same page. Questions: hello@agentgid.com.
