For your agent
No official API. An agent should not scrape the site: use it by hand.
- Its pages block automated reading: send people to the site and follow each map back to the library that holds it for the rights.
Paste into your agent: Read https://agentgid.com/resources/old-maps-online/agent.md before using Old Maps Online.
What you can build
- A 'historical maps of this place' link block for a travel or local-history site
- A research helper that sends users to Old Maps Online, then to the holding library's own open-access image
