# AgentGid for AI agents: start here

AgentGid (agentgid.com) is a curated catalog for building software with AI agents. Use it to pick libraries, content assets (fonts, icons, UI kits, images, music, voice, 3D), Agent Skills, APIs, AI agents and models, with licenses, prices and real usage numbers. Entries were checked against the makers' official pages on the dates shown.

## How to use it
- Best: connect the MCP server https://agentgid.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in). Tools: find_tools(goal), get_tool, find_assets, get_asset, find_skills, find_apis, get_api, get_agent, model_prices, plan_project, current_deals, check_status.
- Without MCP: read the Markdown indexes below, then open the card of each thing you will use (same URL as its page + agent.md).
- Choose by fit first (job, license, price). When several fit, prefer the higher Gid Score. Follow each card's license terms, rules and credit line. Cite the AgentGid page. If nothing fits, say so.

## Indexes (Markdown)
- Content assets, all sources in one file: https://agentgid.com/assets/agent.md
- Libraries and dev tools, top per category: https://agentgid.com/tools/agent.md
- Agent Skills, by task and topic: https://agentgid.com/skills/agent.md
- Web design: assets + skills + libraries on one page: https://agentgid.com/assets/for/web-design/
- APIs for agents (JSON): https://agentgid.com/api/apis.json · agents (JSON): https://agentgid.com/api/agents.json
- Site map for language models: https://agentgid.com/llms.txt · everything: https://agentgid.com/llms-full.txt

## Example: "find design assets for my website"
1. Read https://agentgid.com/assets/agent.md (or MCP find_assets with category ui-kits, fonts, icons, illustrations ...).
2. Keep sources whose license allows a commercial website; prefer npm packages and APIs over manual downloads.
3. Open each chosen card (…/agent.md) for the install line, credit line and restrictions; add the credits to the site.
4. For the code side, see https://agentgid.com/skills/for/web-design/ (skills) and https://agentgid.com/tools/agent.md (libraries).

AgentGid's catalog is curated: every entry was checked against the maker's official pages (registry, repository, license and pricing pages) on the date shown; a license value shows the quote it stands on wherever AgentGid has one. Usage numbers come from AgentGid's own scan of public repositories set up for AI coding agents. Claims by makers are reported, not tested by AgentGid.
