OpenCode 2.2.5 released
A feature release adding keyboard shortcuts for worktree selection and shell mode, plus improvements to message handling and context window management.
What changed in 2.2.5
- New keyboard shortcuts: press Ctrl+Alt+O to choose a worktree, Ctrl+Alt+B for its base branch, and Ctrl+Shift+X to toggle shell mode in the composer.
- Send individual quotes with comments directly from the quote popup by holding Ctrl and pressing Enter, leaving the rest of the composer unchanged.
- Set compaction buffer as a percentage like "20%" in opencode.json to automatically reserve space for any model size.
- MCP servers now handle large messages up to 10 MiB without disconnecting, and improved error messages for file operations and missing folders.
- Fixed reasoning content preservation when switching models, and compaction now works with LiteLLM context window errors.
