Wikipedia
The free encyclopedia plus a family of public APIs (Action API, REST API, pageviews, live edit stream) and monthly full database dumps of every Wikimedia wiki.
You can query, stream or download the whole of human knowledge as people keep writing it, and reuse it in commercial products if you credit and share alike.

For your agent
A request your code or agent can make with no key:
https://en.wikipedia.org/api/rest_v1/page/summary/Earth- No key needed for reads: send a User-Agent with contact info (otherwise 10 req/min), use the REST page/summary endpoint for cards and dumps or EventStreams for bulk and live data.
- Credit authors with a link to the article and release reused text under CC BY-SA 4.0
- Check each image's own license on its file page before reuse
- Send a descriptive User-Agent with contact info; max 3 parallel connections to dumps
Paste into your agent: Read https://agentgid.com/resources/wikipedia/agent.md before using Wikipedia.
What you can build
- A 'what the world is reading now' dashboard from the pageviews (Analytics) API
- A live map or ticker of edits from the EventStreams recent-changes feed
- An offline or RAG knowledge base built from the monthly XML dumps, shipped with CC BY-SA credit
