Music For Programming

An ad-free, artist-curated series whose track lists double as a guide to quiet electronic music.

For your agent
No official API. An agent should not scrape the site: use it by hand or through its downloads.
- No API or SDK; the RSS podcast feed (https://musicforprogramming.net/rss.xml, also /rss.php) lists every episode (79 as of Aug 2026) with direct MP3 enclosure links on datashat.net, so link to or play episodes from the feed rather than rehosting them. /llms.txt is not real (returns the app's HTML).
- Stream from the official feed URLs; do not rehost or sell the mixes (all rights reserved, third-party music)
- Point listeners to the artists in the track lists and the Patreon that pays for hosting
Paste into your agent: Read https://agentgid.com/resources/music-for-programming/agent.md before using Music For Programming.
What you can build
- A tiny CLI or menu-bar player that streams episodes from the RSS feed while you work
- A focus timer that starts a random Music For Programming episode from the feed
