Hookdeck

Hosted webhook infrastructure: an Event Gateway that receives inbound webhooks, queues, filters, transforms, retries and routes them to your API with logs and replay, Outpost for sending webhooks to your own customers, and a CLI that forwards webhooks to localhost.

Webhooks from Stripe, Shopify or GitHub stop getting lost when your server is down or flooded, because they are queued, rate-limited and replayable instead of hitting your app directly.

For your agent

  • REST: Authorization: Bearer <project API key> to https://api.hookdeck.com/2026-09-01/...; MCP: run the hookdeck CLI as an stdio server (command hookdeck, args gateway mcp; add --allow-write for changes) after hookdeck login or HOOKDECK_API_KEY; hookdeck listen forwards webhooks to localhost; docs pages are available as .md
  • Stay under 240 API requests per minute per key and honor the X-RateLimit headers
  • Keep the project API key server-side; MCP starts read-only unless you pass --allow-write
