Inworld AI
Inworld offers realtime speech-to-speech, TTS, STT and LLM routing APIs that game studios can use for NPCs that respond to player speech, world state and story context, with viseme timestamps for lip-sync. It works from Unreal, Unity or custom engines over REST, WebSocket or WebRTC, and games are now one of several markets alongside companions, education and voice agents.
Pricing: On-Demand starts free (up to 70 minutes of TTS or 400 minutes of STT free) with pay-as-you-go rates; Creator $25/mo, Builder $100/mo, Developer $300/mo, Growth $1,500/mo with lower per-unit TTS/STT rates; Enterprise custom; LLMs at cost.
Unity CLI MCP server
The Unity CLI includes an MCP server, started with `unity mcp` and built on the Unity Pipeline package, that lets external coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf control a running Unity Editor locally. It replaces the deprecated MCP server in the com.unity.ai.assistant package, is marked experimental, and works alongside Unity's skills-only plugin for Claude Code, Codex and Grok.
Pricing: Unity states that the CLI, MCP server and official plugin are free to use with no concurrency limits and need no Unity AI credits.
