# Opengeni

An open-source platform that gives each AI agent its own cloud machine (git, shell, Python, browser) and lets you start long tasks from a web app, Slack, a schedule or an HTTP API, with a TypeScript SDK and React components to embed the agent in your own product.

## Rules for an agent

- npm package @opengeni/sdk (ESM, Node 18+/Bun/Deno/edge) with OpenGeniClient({baseUrl, apiKey}); server-side org or workspace API keys go in 'Authorization: Bearer ogk_...', and per-user delegated tokens (ogd_...) are HMAC-signed by your backend.
- Keep the organization API key on your backend; it is shown once and must never reach the browser
- Sandboxes are temporary: do not keep the only copy of work in them
- Follow the terms of the model provider whose subscription or key you connect
