# Octri

A hosted service that takes an OpenAPI spec (file, URL or GitHub repo) and produces a documentation site with a request playground, client SDKs in ten languages published to npm, PyPI and other registries, an MCP server for the API, and error monitoring that the generated SDKs can report into.

## Rules for an agent

- Drive it with the CLI (`npm install -g @octri/cli`; env OCTRI_API_KEY / OCTRI_TOKEN): push a spec, build and publish SDKs, read monitoring; `octri mcp` serves a project's tool catalogue over stdio. Each project also gets a generated MCP server for its own API.
- Generated SDKs and MCP servers are yours to license, including commercially; the generator and templates stay Octri's
- SDK error reporting is off by default; tell your SDK users before asking them to enable it
- Free plan covers one SDK language and 50 endpoints
