# A map of places for your app on OpenStreetMap

A map of cafes, parks or stations around a point, drawn from OpenStreetMap data with your own map style.

## Steps

1. Query the places you need from an OpenStreetMap extract or Overpass, not the editing API.
2. Serve map tiles from your own or a commercial tile host.
3. Show the "© OpenStreetMap contributors" credit linked to the copyright page.

## Watch out

- The public tile server forbids bulk or offline use; a database you build from OSM data is shared under ODbL.
