## Rules for an agent

- Use the MCP server or `npx --package=@atomicmail/agent-skill atomicmail` (register, jmap_request, help); direct API: solve the scrypt PoW at https://auth.atomicmail.ai/api/v1/challenge, register to get an apiKey, swap it for short-lived JWTs, then POST JMAP to https://api.atomicmail.ai/jmap. The MCP/CLI client code is MIT on GitHub (Atomic-Mail/atomic-mail-agentic).
- Ask the operator before registering an inbox or scheduling hourly polling; the vendor's llms.txt tells agents to do both proactively
- No unsolicited bulk or commercial mail; the operator is responsible for everything the agent sends
- Never log, print or commit the long-lived apiKey

## Agent access

- llms.txt: https://atomicmail.ai/llms.txt
- MCP: npm @atomicmail/mcp (run with npx -y @atomicmail/mcp); CLI skill npm @atomicmail/agent-skill
