Pick the path that matches why you came. None of them needs an account.

## Pick an AI agent

1. Open the [rankings](https://agentgid.com/): every agent is ranked by its Gid Score, built from public usage data. [How it is calculated](https://agentgid.com/methodology/).
2. Narrow it down by [category](https://agentgid.com/categories/), or answer four questions in [Find your agent](https://agentgid.com/find/) to get three picks with reasons.
3. Put two or three agents side by side in [Compare](https://agentgid.com/compare/).
4. Before you pay, check [pricing](https://agentgid.com/pricing/), [plan limits](https://agentgid.com/limits/) and [status](https://agentgid.com/status/). See [Prices and limits](https://agentgid.com/docs/prices-and-limits/).

## Build a project from a kit

1. Find a [tested kit](https://agentgid.com/build/kits/) for your project, or describe it in the [starter kit builder](https://agentgid.com/build/).
2. Set your limits there: commercial or personal use, free or paid parts, and your coding agent.
3. Download the kit as a .zip, unzip it into an empty folder and open your coding agent in that folder.
4. Paste the first prompt from `first-prompt.txt`. The agent follows `AGENTS.md` one step at a time.

The full walk-through, with the setup for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Copilot, is in [Use a kit](https://agentgid.com/docs/kits/use-a-kit/).

## Connect your own AI

Your AI assistant or coding agent can read AgentGid directly:

- **MCP server:** add `https://agentgid.com/mcp` (no sign-in). Setup for each client is on [MCP server setup](https://agentgid.com/connect/).
- **No MCP:** give it a page address. Every Docs page also exists as Markdown, and [llms.txt](https://agentgid.com/llms.txt) maps the whole site. See [JSON, RSS and llms.txt](https://agentgid.com/docs/json-and-feeds/).

## Not sure where to start

[Ask AgentGid](https://agentgid.com/ask/) a question in plain words. Answers come from AgentGid's own pages and link to every page they used.
