# Change parts, limits and the monthly cost

> In the kit builder you set your limits, swap or remove a part, add your own, and see what the project will cost a month from official prices.

Open any kit in the [kit builder](https://agentgid.com/build/) (on a recipe page: **Change parts or your agent**). Every change assembles the kit again and updates the files you download.

## Your limits

Four answers filter every part in the kit:

| Limit | Choices |
|---|---|
| Use | Commercial (you may earn money with it) or Personal (learning or a hobby) |
| Budget for parts | Free only, or Paid is fine |
| Credits | Crediting authors is fine, or Avoid sources that require credit |
| Your coding agent | Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot (VS Code) or another agent |

A part whose license or price does not fit is left out, and the next one that fits takes its place.

## Swap a part

Click a part in the schema, or a line in the list view, to see why it was picked. **Change** lists the other parts that fit and the ones ruled out, with the reason for each. When nothing fits your limits, the job says so.

## Remove a part

Optional parts can be switched off. A part the plan depends on can only be swapped, not removed, unless it is an asset, a skill or an MCP server.

## Add a part

**+ Add a part** searches AgentGid's catalogs, or takes a name and a link for something that is not in them. A kit takes up to 8 added parts. Parts you type in yourself are marked "not checked by AgentGid" in the kit, in `AGENTS.md` and in `CREDITS.md`.

## The monthly cost

**Running cost** shows what the project costs a month once it runs, from the official prices in AgentGid's catalog. Each service starts at 10,000 requests a month: set your own number. When a free tier is not stated in requests, the line says the limit is assumed. Where a price is not per request, put in your own figure.

Prices change, so check the linked price pages before you pay. See [Prices and limits](https://agentgid.com/docs/prices-and-limits/).

## Keep or share your version

Your answers and changes stay in the page address. [Share a kit](https://agentgid.com/docs/kits/share-a-kit/) covers links and saving to your profile.
